Membership Applications are reviewed and voted on by the Board of Directors. The BOD meet the 4th Tuesday in the month's of February, April, June, August, October and December. Applicants must secure sponsor signatures; one current member sponsor within the discipline for which they are applying, the second from another current member sponsor outside their discipline. The discipline categories are noted on the application. A current professional bio detailing estate planning experience and time spent dealing in estate planning matters and payment must be included with the application. Email/fax or mail application along with attachments to the Council office no later than one week preceding the bi-monthly board meeting.
Orange County Estate Planning Council is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and joining can fulfill the requirement of belonging to an affiliated local estate planning council to become an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee.
