DESCRIPTION:\nThis presentation will discuss some of the more important changes made to America’s tax law by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act especially as it may affect estate planning clients.  Specifically, it will discuss the implications of making the wealth transfer tax exemptions permanent at $15 million with continued inflation adjustment and how that may suggest changes in drafting documents including disclaimers and other ways to adjust dispositions.  It will explore how basis is now much more important than estate tax reduction even in states that have their own estate tax systems.  It will discuss the increase for some of the state and local tax deduction, the changes to charitable transfers, the exclusion for some for certain tip and social security income, the section 199A investments and more.\n \nJonathan G.
